Summer Adventure Camp

Summer Adventure Camp
Runs from July until the end of August. Our summer program is designed to allow our children to learn independence, self-sufficiency and grow their social and technical skills. It offers a unique experience, innovative activities, devoted staff and a safe place for children to grow physically, socially, mentally and spiritually.
Activities include Qur’an recitation, age-appropriate Islamic studies, soccer, basketball, robotics & Arduino projects, carpentry developing skills, leadership workshops, community service projects, swimming, arts & crafts, and much more.
With a ratio of one staff for every five children, we provide a highly personal learning experience. Usually, we end our Summer adventure camp with the “camp trip” where we have the opportunity to experience the outdoors, make new friends, and develop self-confidence through learning new skills. The camp trips are part of the initial vision, designed to create a unique opportunity to bring our youth together around the unique challenges that a camp setting can provide. At camp they unplug from their virtual life and turn their attention to real life, and the community they find there. The activities facilitate a greater understanding of campers’ talents and abilities, as well as the Islamic values.
The last two years, we camped at Cedarwin Camp, over 70 acres of scenic trails and well-maintained camp site with lots of activities. During the outdoor camping, we focus on leadership, outdoor & environmental stewardship. Activities during camping include, canoeing, archery, natural trails hiking, wildlife exploring, soccer games, camp fire stories, scavenger hunts, leadership workshops, groups competitions and more.
